Our Mission

Our mission is to empower businesses to provide a safe and productive workplace for the benefit of the employer and employee.

On-Site Physiotherapy Early Intervention Programs are vital to a business operating a safe and injury-free workplace that operates to its fullest capacity and productivity. At Industrial Physiotherapy, we provide these programs as well as risk assessments, ergonomics, and much more.

About Industrial Physiotherapy.

Industrial Physiotherapy was started by Scott Hewett, a veteran of the physiotherapy industry. He has over 30 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in private practice, specialising in treating work-related injuries.

Scott had noticed over the years that at least 2/3 of the work-related injuries that came through his clinic doors were injuries that were completely preventable if early intervention was provided within the workplace.

He also observed that the medical model of care for injured workers often caused a significant delay in necessary treatment which caused an extended delay in return to work. It became clear that the employers had very little control over this process.

Scott saw an opening to provide a service that would empower businesses. This will provide considerable savings in the costs associated with workplace injuries, while creating better outcomes for both employees and their employers .
